AAR Mobility Systems

“AAR accepted a contract requiring that we perform HEMP (High Energy Electromagnetic Pulse) testing on a shelter. This testing involves measuring radio wave penetration in multiple locations, positions and over 300 frequencies. Obviously performing this testing completely manually would take too much time to be practical. In order to automate our testing, we needed to have a pair of laptops electronically control outdated, [but in-expensive], equipment and record data in a format we can cut and paste into a report. Novum Automation created a computer interface for us which allows the simple performance of our testing and offers us the ability to modify our tests as required. Having Novum Automation produce this interface allowed us to have it ready months sooner than would have been possible [in-house] with a much neater, more user friendly program than what would be possible [in-house]. Novum Automation did a very good job of translating our test requirements and some old test equipment manuals into software which will be useful for years to come. Novum Automation is a great resource and gets a quality job done on schedule.”
