Problem
An existing electromechanical automotive test system required specialized thermal vision integration and communication software upgrades.
Solution
Novum Automation developed and integrated custom LIN communication drivers and thermal vision analytics to modernize the test system and align with current specification requirements.
Developed custom thermal data capture and analytics utilizing National Instruments vision software and a FLIR A35 thermal camera
Programmed LIN communication driver to OEM’s specification for documentation of thermal test sequence performance
Utilized National Instruments LabVIEW to perform intercommunication with all sub-components, acquire necessary test data, and compare data against pass/fail criteria
